RidgeLine

Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 10, 2026

RidgeLine is a CRM platform for field sales and service teams, provided by TradeLine (“we”, “us”). This policy covers the RidgeLine web and mobile apps, editions of the platform that organizations run under their own brand (for example, the Rivet Roofing (TN License #13153) mobile app), and the public pages we host on an organization’s behalf (such as proposal, payment, and customer-portal links). You access the apps with an account provided by your organization. Questions: support@trytradeline.io.

Our role: you and your organization

Two kinds of people interact with the platform: members — the reps, technicians, and staff who sign in with an account provided by their organization — and the organization’s customers, whose records the organization keeps in the platform.

Your organization owns its business records and decides how they are used. We process that data on the organization’s behalf and under its instructions — in privacy-law terms, the organization is the controller of its customer records and we are a processor. If you are a customer of a business that uses the platform, please direct privacy requests about the records that business keeps to that business; we support organizations in honoring those requests.

Information we collect

  • Account & contact information — the name, email address, phone number, and mailing address associated with your account, and the contact details in the customer and lead records your organization keeps.
  • Content you create — jobs, appointments, estimates, invoices, notes, signatures, and inspection reports; photos and videos you capture or attach; audio you record in the app (for example, voice notes); and the content of emails and text messages sent and received through the platform’s messaging features.
  • Support communications — messages and feedback you send us, including through the in-app feedback tool.
  • Payment & financial information — records of deposits, payments, and transactions processed through the platform, and, where an organization offers financing, the information submitted in a financing application (which can include financial and credit-related information). See “Payments and financing” below.
  • Identifiers — a user ID and organization ID used to scope your access, and device identifiers and push tokens used to deliver notifications.
  • Location — when you use location-enabled features (such as mapping job locations, sharing that you are on the way, or clocking in at a job site), the app captures your device’s precise location while the app is in use, with your permission. We do not collect background location.
  • Usage & diagnostics — how you interact with the app (screens viewed, features used), crash reports, performance measurements, and related diagnostic data used to keep the service stable and improve it.

We do not use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking, and we do not collect an advertising identifier (IDFA).

How we use information

  • To provide, secure, and support the apps and your account.
  • To sync your data across your devices and your organization’s web app.
  • To operate platform features — pipeline and lead management, scheduling, estimates and e-sign, invoicing, payments and financing, messaging, customer portals, and job-site mapping.
  • To send service communications (such as booking confirmations and security notices) and, where you have not opted out, product news and marketing from us or from your organization.
  • To power AI-assisted features, described below.
  • To understand how the product is used, fix crashes and performance problems, and develop and improve features.
  • To detect and prevent fraud and abuse, and to comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information and do not use it for third-party advertising.

Payments and financing

Card and bank details are collected and processed by our third-party payment processors. Full card numbers do not touch our servers; we keep transaction records such as the amount, status, and payment-method metadata needed for receipts, reconciliation, and refunds.

If your organization offers financing, the information you or a customer submits in a financing application — contact, financial, and credit-related information — is shared with the financing partner the organization selects, at your or the organization’s direction, so the partner can process the application. Financing partners handle that information under their own privacy policies.

Text messages and email

The platform sends transactional messages on an organization’s behalf — booking confirmations, appointment reminders, proposals, and payment links — and, where the organization uses the platform’s marketing tools, marketing messages the organization composes.

You can opt out of marketing at any time: reply STOP to a text or use the unsubscribe link in an email. Service messages tied to something you requested (for example, an appointment you booked) may still be sent. Phone numbers and text-message consent collected by the platform are not shared with third parties for their own marketing.

AI-assisted features

Some features use machine learning to analyze content in order to provide the feature — for example, flagging potential issues in job-site photos or drafting summaries of a job record. Outputs appear in your workspace like any other record and stay under your organization’s control. We use usage and diagnostic data to develop and improve these features; we do not use your content to build advertising profiles.

How information is shared

  • Within your organization — members of your organization can see organization data according to their role.
  • Service providers — vendors that process data on our behalf to run the service: cloud hosting, database and file storage, push-notification delivery, email and text-message delivery, payment processing, e-signature, and crash and performance analytics. They may use the data only to provide their service to us.
  • Financing partners — at your or your organization’s direction, as described above.
  • Third parties your organization authorizes — an organization can invite outside collaborators into its workspace (for example, a marketing agency) or issue them API access. Those parties receive data under the organization’s direction and its agreements with them, and our terms prohibit anyone accessing the platform through an API from selling that data or using it for data brokering or third-party ad targeting.
  • Business transfers — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, data may transfer as part of that transaction; this policy would continue to apply to it.
  • Legal — when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users, the public, or the service.

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, stored in our cloud database (Supabase), and isolated per organization with row-level security; internal access follows least-privilege, role-based controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure — if you believe you have found a security issue, please report it to support@trytradeline.io.

Data retention and deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account and organization are active, plus a limited period in routine backups. You can delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete account), which permanently removes your profile, erases your name and email, and revokes your access. Business records (such as jobs and invoices you worked on) belong to your organization and may be retained by it, including where laws — for example tax or accounting rules — require it.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Because we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is nothing to opt out of on that front.

To make a request, contact support@trytradeline.io. You may use an authorized agent; we will verify the request and respond within the time required by applicable law, and you may appeal a decision by replying to our response. If your request concerns records kept by a business that uses the platform, we will refer it to that business and assist them in responding.

You can also control the app’s permissions — location, camera, photos, microphone, and notifications — at any time in your device settings.

Children

The platform is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; if you believe a child has provided us information, contact support@trytradeline.io and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy; changes will be posted here with a new effective date, and we will provide additional notice of material changes where the law requires it.
